Job functions

You’ll be joining our fully remote engineering team to work on our Django Rest Framework-based backend.

As a backend engineer, you can expect to work on all aspects of our platform. You’ll collaborate with our product/frontend team as they build user interfaces and work with other back-end engineers to design well-tested and performant APIs.

Responsibilities

Write clean, well-tested and modular code
Designing highly scalable and flexible backend systems
Develop RESTful APIs using the Django REST Framework
Integrate various libraries/frameworks and APIs
Write tests for all views, models, serializers

Deliverables

Django models, serializers, views
Integrations with APIs, libraries, and Python packages
Unit and Integration tests

Qualifications and requirements

The ideal candidate

Has 3+ years Django Rest Framework and Python
Has experience with Test Driven Design and writing unit tests
Ability to communicate clearly
Ability to set and meet deadlines on time
Minimum C1 Level English
Must be located in between UTC-9 and UTC-3 (North America, LATAM, or South America)

Nice to haves

Experience building payments platforms
Experience with React
