Coalesce is a full-stack product studio that blends strategy, design, and engineering. We work across industries—from media to fintech—helping clients launch platforms, streamline performance, and scale intelligently.

We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented front-end developer to join us on a contract basis for a creative, interactive web based project. The initial engagement will last 6–8 weeks through November, with potential for ongoing work across other web and digital products.

The project involves building a mobile-first, animated experience that blends real user data with visually rich design components. You’ll be working closely with our design and engineering teams to bring this project to life.

Job functions

Develop responsive, mobile-first web interfaces from Figma designs
Implement smooth transitions and animation effects for shareable visual moments
Collaborate with our internal engineers and designers to align structure and functionality
Maintain pixel-perfect implementation across screen sizes
Work closely with PMs to ensure milestones are hit within sprint timelines
Collaborate via Slack and GitHub
Contribute to documentation and QA planning

Qualifications and requirements

Strong portfolio of interactive web experiences
Strong proficiency in modern HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Ability to translate Figma specs into pixel-perfect layouts
Skilled with GSAP, Lottie, or similar animation libraries
Comfortable working with component-based design systems
Solid understanding of Git workflows and modern front-end build tooling
English fluency and availability during core EST hours (at least 4–5 hour overlap)
Reliable and proactive in a remote setting

Desirable skills

Exposure to AI coding tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
DevOps familiarity (GitHub Actions, Netlify, Vercel, or CI/CD flows)
