We are seeking a senior engineering leader with a strong technical background and a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1 year in a management role, and a BS or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.
Technical strengths should include software development, cloud platforms, and modern architectures, with experience in agile environments and a demonstrated ability to drive process improvements. You should be a collaborative leader who can work effectively with Product, Design, Security, and Business groups, and possess excellent problem-solving, adaptability, and growth-minded thinking. A hands-on approach to leadership and a passion for delivering impactful, scalable software are essential.
Required attributes: strong communication and mentorship skills; ability to manage multiple priorities; comfort with ambiguity; commitment to inclusivity and the development of a diverse engineering culture; and a focus on delivering secure, reliable software aligned with business outcomes.
Experience leading engineering teams in the HR tech or SaaS domain is a plus. Familiarity with payroll, benefits, or recognition/rewards modules can be advantageous. Prior exposure to Employer of Record models, multi-product domains, and cross-functional collaboration with Product Security and Compliance teams is beneficial. A growth mindset, curiosity, and willingness to adopt new technologies and practices to enhance product value are highly desirable.
