Fitoexact has been Bootstrapped from 0 to 120k ARR in 2 years. With a tech stack built fully committed to the Rails 8 principles, including its title as the "One Developer Framework". Our business philosophy is highly inspired by DHH and his "Getting Real" way of creating a company.
Right now we’re a small team of three — two founders (one of them the sole developer, and it’s hurting) — plus a commercially oriented associate.
We are looking for a developer to join us in the journey of scaling fitoexact from Chile to the world. Someone who can take care, improve and extend the software upon which we will grow fitoexact over the next 2 years.

You’ll have a high degree of autonomy and plenty of solo development time — without direct supervision or routines check-ins.
If you understand the core problems to be solved and can craft software that users truly appreciate, you'll grow into the core contributor to our product. We don’t expect you to get there overnight — but the potential and mindset should be evident from day one.
You'll need the confidence to carry forward the development process on our chosen tech stack:
- Ruby on Rails + Bootstrap
- Commitment to Rails conventions, present and future — deviating only when it truly makes sense.
This job posting is in English, but you don’t need to be fluent — as long as Spanish is your first language.
We need you to be very good at what you say you’re good at. It’s fine not to be in everything else — as long as you’re clear about it and open to improve when needed.
