The role sits within our starting GTM initiatives, collaborating closely with the BDM to validate ICPs, test messaging, and build scalable outbound strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Outreach: Execute targeted outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and strategic calling.
  • Discovery & Qualification: Lead initial discovery conversations to uncover operational pain points and qualify/disqualify leads based on ICP fit, urgency, and buying context.
  • Quality Over Quantity: Secure high-quality meetings for the Business Development Manager (BDM), prioritizing conversion potential over raw volume.
  • Market Testing: Actively test different messaging hypotheses and vertical-specific strategies (e.g., product-led vs. services-led approaches).
  • Feedback Loop: Document market objections, trends, and buyer insights to help iterate the GTM strategy.
  • Collaboration: Work in lockstep with the BDM to refine targeting criteria and outreach sequences.

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior outbound BDR to help validate market demand for a differentiated B2B software platform that integrates fleet management and hardware. This essential role operates in an early Go-To-Market (GTM) environment where ICPs and messaging are still being refined. You will contribute to building the playbook, focusing on high-intent outbound, strategic discovery, and lead qualification. The ideal candidate thrives in a startup-like setting, demonstrates strong written and verbal communication, and can adapt messaging based on prospect feedback.

Desirable qualifications include 2–4+ years in outbound BDR or Sales Development within B2B SaaS, complex platforms, or hardware/software solutions. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy market validation work, and excel at tailoring outreach with a high-context, research-backed approach rather than relying on generic scripts. Strong critical thinking, curiosity, and the ability to pivot strategies based on real-time feedback are highly valued.
