The core project related to this role revolves around scaling Pearl’s sales and business development capabilities. This involves transforming an emerging sales team into a highly effective, world-class revenue organization that can drive Pearl to achieve $10 million+ in annual recurring revenue (ARR). The focus will be on developing scalable sales systems, coaching and mentoring the sales team, executing complex enterprise-level deals, and establishing sustainable processes to support strong and predictable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Lead and expand a team currently made up of two Account Executives into a high-performing sales organization. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide training, coaching, and accountability. Recruit, onboard, and develop new team members and continuously improve the sales training curriculum to build capabilities.
  • Sales Execution & Strategy: Personally manage and close high-stakes, late-stage sales deals. Create and implement scalable outbound and inbound sales strategies and playbooks aligned with company goals. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the sales funnel and proactively address them to improve conversion and reduce cycle times.
  • Revenue Operations & Analysis: Monitor and analyze CRM and pipeline data to derive actionable sales insights. Optimize sales workflows, deal stages, and maintain pipeline hygiene for maximum efficiency. Build and maintain dashboards that track sales activity, conversion rates, and overall revenue outcomes, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing to align campaigns, messaging, and sales enablement content. Collaborate with Client Success teams to integrate feedback from placements and ensure smooth handoffs that enhance long-term client relationships and value delivery.

Role Description and Requirements

We are seeking a visionary leader with proven expertise scaling businesses from inception (0) to initial growth (1) and from early stages (1) to significant scale (100). The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of closing B2B enterprise-level deals, particularly in a US-based corporate environment. A data-driven mindset is essential, with the ability to synthesize complex metrics into clear narratives that drive strategic sales decisions and team motivation.
This role requires someone who operates with urgency, ownership, and a builder’s mindset, consistently striving for operational excellence and revenue enhancement. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to coach team members and engage prospects effectively.
Technical proficiency is required with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or equivalents, including a deep understanding of sales analytics and pipeline management. The candidate should be a systems thinker capable of designing repeatable, scalable sales processes and have demonstrable skills in outbound strategy and deal closing.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in high-growth technology startups, SaaS sales, or scaling remote sales teams globally will find this role well suited to their background. Familiarity with advanced sales enablement tools and marketing automation platforms can be an asset. Exposure to building strong sales cultures and leadership in a remote or hybrid working environment would also be advantageous.
Strong analytical skills, including experience designing sales dashboards and leveraging CRM data for predictive insights, are highly desirable.
