ABOUT THE ROLE
Your responsibility as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to generate demand so new qualified leads are included in the sales process. As an SDR, you will be the sales team's first point of contact with potential customers. You will generate demand, interest and enthusiasm for our product to create a constant flow of leads to the sales team and will be a key part of Modyo's growth into new markets.

SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Map new markets and identify prospects.
  • Initiate lead contact throughout cold calls.
  • Create relationships with customers to identify potential needs and qualify their interests and feasibility to drive sales.
  • Maintain updated information, detailing interactions, conversations and type of prospect according to each case.
  • Coordinate meetings with contacts in strategic roles.
  • Map unexplored markets (industries and countries) to gain new prospects according to the definition of our Sales strategy
  • Qualify leads into qualified marketing prospects (MQL) or qualified sales prospects (SQL) in order to promote opportunities.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 1-4 years of front line sales experience, preferably in financial services or technology.
  • Experience working in a B2B environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or studies in Civil Engineering, Commercial Engineering, Business, Computer Science or in a related field.
  • Proven experience excelling at requisite SDRs skills e.g. prospecting via cold calling, email, and social selling. Deep understanding of sales methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience in outbound lead generation, sales/marketing analytics and managing data quality.
  • Advanced English.
  • Self-study skills (if you love reading, you’ll fit right in!)
  • Enthusiasm to help us generate new opportunities in a new market ;)
  • The desire to provide a customer-centric experience to potential new customers.
