Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure end-user devices, including laptops, software, operating systems, wireless access points, switches and firewalls, printers, and scanners.
  • Plan and perform scheduled maintenance upgrades.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues across endpoints.
  • Manage IT assets, equipment inventory, consumables, and supplies.
  • Respond to breakdowns, repair equipment, and replace faulty components.
  • Communicate with suppliers, service providers, and employees to identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of software licenses.
  • Create documentation and technical reports for IT processes and incidents.
  • Provide support to other Atheneum offices across different time zones and ensure onsite availability in Santiago.

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a hands-on IT Admin Specialist to join our growing team in Santiago. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of end-user computing environments, desktop support, and basic IT infrastructure tasks. You will collaborate with global IT teams to ensure reliable and secure IT services, while delivering a high level of customer service to internal clients. You will also help maintain asset inventories, software licensing records, and documentation to support efficient IT operations across the organization.
Key activities include provisioning and maintaining devices, supporting Windows and macOS environments, assisting with network-related peripherals, and contributing to incident resolution and continuous improvement of IT processes.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT Support or IT Administration.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows networks and Azure/Office 365.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Basic administrative knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server.
• Experience with Windows, macOS, and iOS.
• Ability to work independently and manage a high level of responsibility.
• Professional English proficiency (required).
