IPSUM (ProPlanner) is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer, who will work with a team of engineers building and testing our client’s web application. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmaps, tools, framework, and approach, including development of an automation framework.
• Actively work with development and infrastructure teams for integrating test automation as an integral part of the CI/CD delivery pipeline.
• Provide leadership, guidance, training, and mentoring to implement test automation across the development organization.
• Proactively seek to make continuous improvements to test coverage, automation, testing methods, processes, tools.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and be detailed oriented.
• Participate in and contribute to code reviews.
• Be passionate about software testing and solving hard problems.

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a Software QA Automation Engineer.
• Experience with test automation frameworks for frontend or backend technologies.
• Strong experience developing automation tests with Cypress.
• Strong experience testing and automation of API REST-based web services.
• Experience with performance and load testing (JMeter is a must-have).
• Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and experience as an Agile team member.

Bonus Skills

• Development within cloud infrastructure (AWS, and GCP).
• Experience leading QA automation projects and developing testing frameworks.
• Linux and Microsoft operating system experience.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with Agile and CI/CD best practices.
• Mobile testing.
