Project/Department: The IT & Digital Operations team supports a broad range of systems that enable our creative teams to work efficiently and securely. You will contribute to maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, supporting video and image processing workflows, and driving technology improvements across the company.

What you'll do

Provide technical support via chat, email, and remote access tools to employees and clients, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues with a focus on speed and accuracy.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications across Windows and macOS environments.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls; enforce security best practices and compliance standards.
Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, patches, and updates; participate in IT security initiatives.
Support video and image processing tools used by Photavia’s creative team, ensuring smooth workflows for production pipelines.
Maintain up-to-date IT documentation, asset inventories, and change logs; contribute to knowledge base creation.
Collaborate with the IT Manager and other departments on system upgrades, integrations, and project deployments.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a proactive IT Support Technician with 2+ years of experience in a technical helpdesk or IT support environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a remote setup, highly collaborative, and able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff. You should have strong troubleshooting skills, a solid foundation in networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPNs, routers, firewalls), and familiarity with cloud-based tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS). Experience with digital media software or creative technology tools and basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) are a plus. The role requires a customer-focused mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a driven approach to continuous improvement and security best practices.

Desirable skills and experience

Experience with digital media software or creative technology tools, knowledge of cybersecurity principles, and basic scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python) are highly desirable.
